The major aim is to provide a sound but crisp knowledge on the biochemical basis of the life processes relevant to the human system and to dental/medical practice. They are practically trained in clinical biochemistry and biochemical techniques which enhance their minds in research that will help the next generation health professionals to serve humanity with dedication

About Department

Our department discover, develop and disseminate knowledge in biochemistry for emerging dentists, to inculcate education to the students that provides a strong foundation and curative skills in the rapidly advancing fields of biochemistry which is essential for dentistry and to provide a conducive learning environment of creative thinking that enables dental students to serve the nation in promotive, preventive and rehabilitative aspects of health care. We  encourage students to pursue research work related to biochemistry in dentistry.
