International Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Day on 13.02.2016 organized by the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

Art Gallery Event –TέXVη 2021,was organized by the Student Council and Fine arts Club of Sri Ramakrishna Dental College and Hospital from 31.08.2021 to 1.09.2021.ATotal of 62 art works were submitted by the students from First BDS-CRI. The best art works were chosen by the votes casted by the faculties and students.

Biomedical Waste Management Program was held on 17.03.2021 in our institution the speaker was Dr.Arun.M, MDS. All the interns were oriented and sensitized with the wide knowledge of management of bio medical waste in hospitals and clinics. It was an interactive session of how the biomedical waste was segregated,stored, transported and disposed.

Stretch yourself (Ergonomics & Yoga) was held in our institution on 16.03.2021. Dr.S.Karthikeyani was the Speaker,began the session with an introduction about the effect of work related practices on the musculoskeletal health of Dentists and the risk factors associated with Dentistry. The need to adapt and guarantee good working postures, sufficient lighting, and easy access to required instrumentation and materials for different working practices, clinical procedures and patient types were highlighted.

Ethics, Jurisprudence and Documentation program was held in our Institution on 17.03.2021, organised by the Department of oral and Maxillofacial Surgery,Dr. M.S.Senthil Kumar MDS was the speaker,he highlighted about the dentist act, Code of ethics, COPRA, Indian Contracts act and IPC.Details of professional indemnity insurance was explained. 

Student council Election Program was held in our Institution on 17.3.2021,Students voted their response via online mode. Dr.Deepanandan Principal,preceeded the Ocassion.The results of the election were Unbiased: President Franklin Manova,Vice president Kameshwaran,General secretary Dr.Anbu muhil,Treasurer-Dr.Hari Pranesh and vote of thanks were said by the student council members.

The Interns Induction Program was successfully conducted from March 15th to 17th 2021. The program was inaugurated by our Principal Dr Deepanandan, which was followed by the welcome address. All the heads of the departments gave a small brief about the learning’s that they can achieve in their respective departments during their internship. Interns shared their feedback about the Induction program. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr P Ambalavanan which was followed by the national anthem.

Student Club Induction Program inducted by the student clubs on 06.07.2021 in college atrium. The event was presided by the principal Dr.Deepanandan , the HODs, teaching and non-teaching faculties , and students. The group song mash up was performed by CRI and the platform was provided to show the students talent and new skills.

International Youth Day was held on our institution on 12.08.2021, speech was given to motivate the students and faculties to actively participate in serving the public by highlighting their roles and responsibilities in today’s world.

Literary Club Debate contest “Freedom properly utilised by men or by women” in Tamil was conducted as an intra college debate contest on 14th august 2021 at the conference hall on the account of the 75th Independence day among the 3rd, 4thyr ,CRI and staffs.

MAX FAX TRAUMA WORKSHOP-HANDS ON COURSE-Held in our institution on 24.09.2021-25.09.2021 organized by the OMFS and AOMSI TN & puducherry chapter.The program was inaugurated the SNR TRUSTEE Shri Lakshmi Narayaswamy. Welcome by Our Principal Dr.Deepanandan and thanked by Dr.Jimson Secrtey of AOMSI TN.The Hands on skill session on models with implants was conducted was attended by 24 Delegates.

NEET Preparation program was held in our institution on 17.03.2021, the speakers were Ms Sraranya Devi.V, Ms.G.Priyanka began the session explaining about the different options that can be pursued post undergraduate degree in dentistry, they went on to elaborate about the time and marching scheme of the NEET MDS exam and the subject wise distribution of questions.

Opportunities after BDS was held in our institution on 17.03.2021. Dr.P.Ambalavanan was the speaker, the students were oriented towards multiple opportunities after BDS. The interns were urged to develop a focus and vision towards their future. Finally the session was ended with discussion and clarification.

Post graduation orientation program was conducted by the research committee of SRDCH on 03-03-2021.The Speaker Dr.SubhaAnirudhan gave a lecture on Essentials of Research for Dentists.

Soft skills Management was held in our institution on 16.03.2021. The speaker Mrs. Anuradha Chokalingam started the session by stating the Non- Verbal communication is the key to a successful career in Dentistry. She emphasized on the importance of being assertive in their approach, whilst maintaining a dignified, Professional tone. The speaker ended the session note re- emphasizing on the importance of communication and soft skills management in dental profession.
